I have discovered Bleach macros. Now I will never get bored. It was filled with win. My stomach hurts from laughing too much!
I haven't packed much yet. I can't seem to figure out how to pack, I mean its one thing to pack your entire house and move across town, but to move half your stuff across the state is different. I mean, there is only so much you can bring. I also have to wait until Thursday to pack.
Today I spent most of the time sitting on the couch with rabbit face and computer, watching cnn on mute and listening to Japanese music. It was fun!

I'm back! I went out Friday to Greensboro to visit my sister Leah before I go to school. I got back last night on the train.
I have today, part of tomorrow (I'm going to Enloe tomorrow), and Thursday to finish packing and cleaning up my room. I leave early Friday morning for Boone.
Right now, I'm working on making my computer more awesome and efficient, it's defraging right now.
So, on to my story about Greensboro. I got there around 4 or something and we took Leah to Food Lion and then the Korean market. I like the Korean market, it had all these weird and cool products in there. I got a persimmon slushy thing. Kimbap is good! Leah and I got back to her house and we watched and fangirled over DBSK videos and dramas. Guys, listen to Balloons by DBSK. It is the epitome of Korean pop culture. If I knew how to post videos on here, I would, but watch it.
Jason came home from work around 11 or so and we ate pizza and watched Olympics and stuff I can't remember what we did.
The next day we went to get ice cream and went to a pet store that had cats and dogs. They were having a buy one get one free sale for kittens. We played with a Shiba-mo, he was cute until he took a large poop on the floor. We left and drove downtown to the Obama Office since Leah always wanted to see what it was. Well, it turned out to be an office. She registered to vote in her county and Jason caused a lot of trouble like usual. We went to a cafe down the street.
At 4 Leah and Jason had to go to work, so I went with them. Leah works in Barnes & Noble, Jason works in Rite Aid. I knitted most of the time. There was this one point where I got a comfy chair and the one eyed homeless man was there and was hitting on/talking to 13 year old emo girls. He was kind of creepy. I didn't know this until later, but I ended up sitting next to Leah's friend the whole I sat in the comfy chair. I stayed there until 11 pm, then went to Rite Aid to go home with Jason. I hacked into some Coke machines and bought strawberry shampoo. We went to Taco Bell and Hollywood video, rented 3:10 to Yuma and No Country for Old Men. I didn't watch any of them. Leah came home at midnight and I think we fangirled some more, I don't remember.
The next day Leah and I watched the first Death Note movie until we left to go ride the bus to her work. She was really late and stuff, I found the homeless guy again and listened to him talk about films and politics. Barnes & Noble is a weird place.... I left around 7 to go back to the house with Jason. We went to the grocery store and bought stuff for a cook out.
Jason and I roasted marshmellows over a stove top. It worked for the most part, but you have to be careful not to burn your hand. Leah came home at 11 and we grilled hamburgers and watched more DBSK dvds. I HEART DBSK. Yunho and Hero are my favorite. Hazel was a silly cat, evil kitty.
The next day we went out for pizza and then went to a thrift shop. I bought a $.50 wooden apple jar thing, a $.25 wood rabbit magnet, and a the most epic $.25 goose earrings.
I rode the train back to Raleigh that night.

Development Goals and Basic Accounts
Last week we updated our development goals for 2008. Generally we noted a number of cool enhancements and investments to LiveJournal that we are working on, including improved search, usability, and site development. We also wanted to let you know how we hope to accomplish all these things, and how we plan on paying for them. In order to accomplish our stated goals for this year and beyond, we need to increase the revenue gained from both groups of LiveJournal accounts: paid subscription accounts and ad-supported accounts.
As of August 28th, all users will be able to choose to downgrade their account to Basic through their Manage Account page. Additionally, we will start showing advertising to visitors who are not logged in to LiveJournal when they are looking at Basic Account journals and communities.
Basic Account users themselves will not see ads on any Basic journal or community while they are logged in to their account. If you want more information about this, take a look at our new post on
Indian Flash Fiction Contest
In other news, we are excited to tell you we've launched "Quick Tales" LiveJournal's first initiative for users in India, in celebration of India Independence day, August 15th. "Quick Tales" is a flash fiction writing contest in which we're partnering with Caferati.com, one of India's largest online literary communites. The contest's winners will receive some great prizes and it is open to anyone with a mailing address in India. We hope that users with an interest in Indian writing or just India will watch LiveJournal'sMeanwhile, back at LiveJournal Inc.
We have updated and redesigned our corporate site. The goal of the redesign was twofold: first, to update the look and feel (Dystopia users will appreciate it!); second, we want to provide a destination for prospective employees, partners, and members of the press where they can access important information about the company. Kudos to our design team.Link | Leave a comment {706} | Add to Memories | Tell a Friend

This packing thing is a rather difficult process. I have three large plastic bins at the moment to fill with all my stuff (minus clothes, computer, fish, tree, and printer). I so far packed my towels, throw blankets, notebooks, books, decor items, and bathroom stuff. I don't move until the 22nd, but I'm starting now, cause I'm a slow packer.
I can't figure out what to bring and the things I know I want to bring I can't pack until later 'cause I'm still using them, like jewelry, lamp, and guitar.
I should go and clean up my room anyways. Maybe I'll work on the closet today.
But anyways! Everyone should go look at http://www.disapprovingrabbits.com ! My bunny, Pearl, is on there! He's a cutie pie.

I get so emotional when any of my animals act different. I took Pearl out of his cage around 4:30 and had put him back about an hour ago. He spent the whole day loafed on top of the couch, he refused a banana! He has refused bananas before, but I think he's acting weird. He did go and bunny flop on the couch. Maybe he was just having fun sitting on top of the couch. I'm going to watch him over the next couple of hours. He just does stuff like this to scare me.
I went to Enloe today to unpack boxes. That was basically it. I worked for about 4 hours, came home and slept for 2 hours.
Why am I such a basketcase?
Mom says he probably chewed an electrical cord and got a little shock.
*EDIT*
JUST KIDDING ABOUT THIS! I went to look at him again and he was acting normal and silly. He gave me a "what are you looking at" face.

I have been looking at this year's qualifying quiz - specifically at Problem 8 because it's the kind of nitpicky not-really-game-theory that I like: it's a lot like analyzing Mafia! However, I didn't stop after solving the problem: I asked myself, what if this were a real game?
If it is, it's probably only the first time it's being played: the second time, Amy will turn it into a variant of Mao, and that hasn't happened yet because Mao game theory is somewhat over my head at the present. I'm assuming that all the players have solved the problem, which if I did my math right should make Brian very happy and Amy and CoScott less so.
Unfortunately for the rules, they'll lose most of their significance when Amy realizes, "Hey! If I don't know the colors of my stickers, I can just guess!" Guessing has either 2/3 or 1/2 probability of being right (2/3 by guessing "red and blue" if what Amy sees is two red stickers and two blue stickers in any order, and 1/2 by guessing either viable guess if what Amy sees is three stickers of one color and one of the other. Obviously if all 4 stickers are the same she doesn't need to guess). This probability is a lot better than she'll get otherwise, particularly since CoScott has nothing to lose by guessing since he's only going to get one turn anyway.
To bring cold logic back to the game, Dana's like "Whoa! No guessing allowed! From now on, you have to justify any statement you make with COLD LOGIC." Which makes me wonder if it's useful to anyone to say "I don't know" when you do, in point of fact, know. On the face of it, it's just going to happen when you're going to win anyway, so it can't do much good. But the good part is that if the other perfect logicians think you might say "I don't know" in any case, they will conclude that no OTHER "I don't know" can be trusted - which will come in handy later on.
(By the way, the implied rule that everyone is a perfect logician and will always say "I know" when he or she knows is now replaced by the implied rule that everyone is a perfect logician and will always say "I know" when he or she knows and it's not probabilistically in his or her favor to say "I don't know".)
Anyway, I'd have more to say, but unfortunately I've misplaced my green and black markers and the red and blue by themselves have made everything too confusing. If a JC were here I'd lie to him it's my birthday. But that's not an option at the moment.

Your perfect HP man is Bill Weasley.

You like guys who are cool. And not cool in that fake, dicky way, but actually cool. He's so cool that they couldn't find any actor to adequately portray him, so they decided to just leave him out of the movies rather than risk not doing justice to his coolness. He's like the Chuck Norris of Harry Potter: plain freaking awesome. When Voldemort says "You-Know-Who", he's talking about Bill Weasley.

I was kneeling in front of the fridge, put away groceries, in the same manner that I have always done it. I always kneel in front of the fridge and rearrange things. Meg decides to start putting away stuff in the freezer, but she get barely reach over me. She starts moving things around and one of those freezer plastic mugs falls out and hits my shoulder just an inch away from my head.
I will have an epic bruise.
But those things hurt if you get hit by one. Its basically one big plastic ice block.
Then a popsicle fell on my head.
She then tried to guilt trip me, but it didn't work.

So I have decided that I am going to grow a goatee. At least, my definition of a goatee, which is the moustache/beard combo. So I am going to do that and post pictures once it is fully grown to my satisfaction.
Also, I am fairly certain I'll be Sportswear Specialist by the end of the month. Which is exciting.
Nothing much doing on the lady front. Yet. I will keep everyone updated if anything happens.
Man Manor is going well, we're sounding better every practice, and now we have enough mics for those who need them.
That's really about it, I think. Oh, there's a big poker tournament I'm taking part in next Sunday, which if I win would bring me 230 bucks, which would be nice. I just hope to finish well this year.
I think that's about it from me...what is up with everyone else?

This is my new beta fish. But he will come up later in my story.
Qurat came over around noon to my house. Yay! I have not see her since we graduated! I actually have not seen anyone from Enloe since graduation. I saw Mauro and Dan once, but they don't count, cause I don't normally see them anyways. Oh! I saw Joey once at State.
We hung around my house for a couple of hours, talking and playing with the rabbit. Pearl was a good bunny, so he got a banana.
Then I said around 2:45, why not go for a walk to the local shopping centers as Capital is less than a mile from my house. So we walked and we found a dead pigeon on the side walk. We were sadden by this, until I poked it with my foot.
We went to the Lowes Food for soda. Kiwi Strawberry soda? Yummy! That stuff was good!
We then left that fine establishment and walked to the large Petsmart. Looked at the cute puppies, kittens, guinea pigs, hamster, mice, and rats. We found the fish section and we looked at them all, but I decided I wanted a fish for my dorm. There were two that we thought were awesome, they were goldfish or something, black and gold. One Qurat named Scarface and there was one that had a Hitler mustache, so he was thus named Hitler. The woman told me that they won't live in regular fish bowls, so I sadly left them and bought the most beautiful beta fish.
I love this little fishie, he is so cute. The picture quality isn't that good, I'll try to take one later. Beautiful colors.
As for his name, I could decide between Ichigo, Renji, and Byakuya. Qurat said he should be the fish with a thousand names. Currently he is known as Ichigo Renji Byakuya Mikami. But to make this easier in casual conversation, I think I will call him Byakuya.
We ended up calling my mom to get us and we hung out on my computer for a while and then she had to go.
