My Happy Place

Wow it's been awhile since I've posted anything. Sorry about that. ^_^; School tends to keep me very very busy, but now that I'm on vacation,(not to rub it in to those who still aren't, I feel for you guys ;_;) I've got a bit more time on my hands.

So let's see, as most of you probably know by now, I'm in a relationship. :O Le gasp I know, quite shocking, with Jeff. So far it's been going really well, I couldn't have asked for a better guy. ^_^

As far as school, the Design school is reaaaaally demanding but I can honestly say that I feel I have learned a ton and that it is very useful stuff. Grades have been A/B so I'm not complaining at all there.

Summer so far has been working on drawings and fun things for Animazement, which is in two weeks...so much left to do. I'm not giving away what I'm working on cause that would spoil the surprise, so if you're coming try and find the table I'll be at and you'll discover awesome goodies.

Hello all its been ages since I last posted.

I just thought I'd let you all know that my surgery to remove my wisdom teeth went well and, although a little swollen, I am doing ok. Winter break has finally arrived and even though I loved my first semester in college I am most relieved to have a break. I managed to get all A's this semester, although you may not believe me, but I've never gotten ALL A's before! So I am really happy right now...ow I forgot it hurts to smile ^_^'.
I wish you all a happy break and a fun holiday time, and if I don't get to see you here's a hug from me to you. (> ^^)>

Ok so, to fill people in on life and stuff:

Prom was last weekend. I had a blast with you guys who went. The photo session was fun although we were tight for time. I didn't expect to have enjoyed myself as much as I did, which I guess is a plus ^_^! Sushi-Tsune was a really good dinner location, close by, not to expensive, and the food and people just made it all the more relaxing. Prom itself was wild. Dancing with our glowsticks, singing, the GRASS HOPPER DANCE XD, that was one good time I'll never forget. Even though I thought that last years decorations were better I found myself liking this years arrangment as well.

As for a different topic of discussion, as many of you know, I got into NC State's School of Design and will be majoring in Art and Design. Just wanted to let those of you who didn't know know...if that makes any sense. I'll still be living at home so it won't be a major change. Also, I won't forget all of you who will be still going to Enloe, I'll come and visit often I promise.

Sorry for not keeping you guys up to date on stuff, I figure you get more than your share of my life through Nat...thanks Natalia!
Anyway, if you didn't know, my great-grandmother past away 2 months ago and that was very painful but to make matters worse my aunt died the day after Thanksgiving, so you guys can imagine how festive Nat and I are feeling right now...not happy at ALL!!!
Now my cousin has no mother and my grandmother is feeling pretty down, with the loss of her mother and now daughter in law...sigh, things couldn't be worse I suppose. So if you could spare some time in your busy lives to just think on how lucky you are, no matter how miserable you might feel, just be glad that you've got parents no matter how bad they may be, just think about it and if you pray, pray for my cousin and us folks.
Thanks guys, you mean a lot to me.

P.S. sorry, I only seem to write when tragedy strikes...I should probably start writing before then, eh?

Hurray I'm a Griffindor!

Yeah, I'm turning 18 soon... and for those who don't know, I'm having a party on Saturday! If you wan't details you can note me. So I'm happy about that but I'm really scared about something else.
If you've read Natalia's journal you know what it is, but if not here it is: My greatgrandmother is 94 years old and is at the hospital. She isn't doing to well and I'm afraid she might die. So if any of you pray...I ask that you do so for my greatgrandmother, her name is Adelina. My mother isn't taking the news very well, you see, my entire family lives in Brazil and so its hard for us to see each other very often. My mother has always helped out the family but because we are so far away it is hard for her to do anything, she feels helpless, as do I. I find her crying alot...and I hold her but it doesn't seem to help. I wish I could cry but I have to be strong for her. I hope greatgrandmother doesn't die, but if she does she'll be in a better place.

So yesterday was The Debacle's first gig! We played at Lorna's party and didn't do toooo bad. I mean, our practice run came out better than the show but it was still an ok performance. I should probably memorise the songs and not strain my vocal cords...poor little vocal cords, I promise I won't hurt you! ^O^ So Hurray for our band not dying and surviving the surprisingly semi-empty party.
